About this deal

The texture is smooth, softer, and crunchy(due to peanuts). The filling of caramel cream gives it an excellent fudgy chewing experience. Its sour, sweet texture makes it a perfect protein bar for those who don’t like to eat too sweet protein bars. Generally, You get 20 grams of protein at 300-350 calories, and 20 grams of protein at just 200 kcal is fantastic for a protein bar. So as per the calories, barbells protein bars are a big yes.

If you only try one flavor, definitely try to get your hands on the creamy crisp and thank me later.

However, If you don’t have any other options and still like to try it with proper diet management and calorie counting. You can have it once a day. Ingredients: Milk protein, humectant (glycerol), collagen peptides, sweetener (maltitol), polydextrose, cocoa butter, water, cashew nuts, milk powder, sunflower oil, cocoa mass, peanut paste ( peanuts, peanut oil), cocoa powder, flavouring, emulsifier ( soy lecithin), sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfam K). Creamy and soft (like all the Barebells bars), complete with gooey caramel and real cashew chunks...all enrobed in sweet milk chocolate...and all for just 204 calories, a whole 20g of protein and just 1.5g of sugar!

To make things easier, we asked nutritionist extraordinaire Jenna Hope to give an expert verdict on some of the most popular protein bars on the market right now (as well as subjecting them to a very rigorous taste test ourselves – it's a hard job, but someone's got to do it!). This protein bar has a very rich chocolate taste, and a hint of salt comes through as well. The crunchy pieces on the outside contrast the chewy bar really well, too. Sweetness– Not too sweet, but sweetened with sugar alcohols to the perfect level. A few of them have a good balance of salty & sweet. So all in all Barebells have delivered on the mint and the sprinkles, but to call this mint dark chocolate is a bare-faced lie and I just won’t condone it. Lemon Curd White Chocolate (8.5/10) I really like the cashew pieces on this one – they add some crunch and are a refreshing change from the crispies you find on pretty much every protein bar these days.Barebells have two different plant-based protein bars; Hazelnut Nougat and Salty peanut vegan protein bars. Comparison to other protein bars– These are about the same price as most protein bars I’ve tried (or even a bit lower than some.) Flavor-wise, these are some of the best protein bars I’ve had. They’re comparable to Built Bars (which have been my go-to for a while), and some of the Barebells flavors I like even more than those. The texture is the best I’ve had in any protein bar. Texture– All of these had varying degrees of chewiness, and none of them were chalky at all. They have a great texture for protein bars. I’ve had other hazelnut-flavored bars, like Misfits, and found myself disappointed by the flavor. When I hear chocolate hazelnut, every fiber of my being is hoping for Nutella flavor.
